Kim Koury is President of Spin Public Relations, specializing in special event publicity, marketing, advertising, promotions, and branding and serves on the board of directors for the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce. Over the past ten years, Kim’s vision has given the company its extensive experience in the food and beverage, entertainment, hospitality, and music industries.

Getting her start in Las Vegas, Kim learned the ins and outs of the business while building strong relationships with local and national media.  Among her high-profile clients were the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Green Valley Ranch, Blue Man Group, Chippendales The Show, Blue Note Jazz Club, Stations Casinos and Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year Clint Holmes. Representing the top venues and entertainers on the most famous Strip in the world helped prepare Kim for the next step in her career.

In 2002, Kim took her talents from Sin City to The City of Angels and spent the next four years as the in-house publicist for legendary music venue Key Club on Sunset Strip. She learned various aspects of the music industry working one-on-one with artists, labels, promoters, and by managing street teams, all the while adding media contacts in every musical genre to her list of contacts.  Over the years, Kim has worked on record releases and tour publicity, and has had the privilege of working with a variety of nationally acclaimed groups and musicians including James Brown, The Killers, The Bravery, Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls, Vince Neil, De La Soul, Slick Rick, Jimmy Cliff  and jazz greats Larry Carlton, The Yellow Jackets, and Al Jarreau.

Red carpets are nothing new to Koury, who orchestrated enormously successful grand openings and star-studded events for The Museum of Selfies, Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, CA, Pedal on the Pier, Wokcano Asian Restaurant & Lounge in Santa Monica, American Heart Association’s “Heart Awards” to name a few.  She has also worked on connecting talent and brands with celebrity gifting suites for The GRAMMYs, People’s Choice, VH-1’s Music Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Sundance Film Festival, and the SAG Awards.

Her hospitality accounts have included Lake Las Vegas Resort, Park Hyatt Los Angeles, Viceroy Hotel and Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach and a number of restaurants such as Del Frisco’s Grille, Michael’s, The Wilshire, TUMBI Craft Indian Kitchen and high-profile chefs including Nyesha Arrington and CJ Jacobson from Bravo’s Top Chef, and MasterChef runner-up Derrick Fox.

Kim’s biggest passion is concepting and producing unique consumer events that increase revenue for local businesses, build community and raise money for charity. One of Kim’s proudest accomplishments was producing the annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl in 2009. Collaborating with the brands such as Anheuser Busch, Maker’s Mark, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Monica Daily Press,, and Big Blue Bus, she was able to rally the participation of 40 Santa Monica bars and restaurants, bringing thousands of people to the city and filling the shelves of the Westside Food Bank. In 2011, Kim was nominated for’s America Inspired Award for her work raising money through the pub crawl to feed the hungry through the Westside Food Bank and has raised nearly $100,000 in six years time. Rosalind Napoli is a seasoned communications professional with over 10 years experience in public relations, marketing and events for restaurants, hotels and consumer. Rosalind served as the Regional Director of Public Relations for Loews Hotels, where she was responsible for overseeing all of the company’s Marketing Communications, civic and community projects, and events.  Throughout her career, she has created media relation’s campaigns for consumer brands ranging from Jamba Juice, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Tasting Panel Magazine, and celebrated chefs throughout the west.

Rebecca Turk – Director of Brand Marketing

Rebecca Turk joins Spin PR Group as Director of Brand Marketing.

Rebecca has over 25 years of experience in leading marketing teams, global brand development, media & celebrity relations, strategic planning and advising entrepreneurs and executives. She has worked with numerous entrepreneurs, executives and entertainers in support of their businesses and non-profit foundations. Her specialities include brand assessments, strategic visioning, executive consulting services, brand building, celebrity relations and publicity.

Rebecca has served in the following roles; Director of Global Marketing and Public Relations for Scuf Gaming, global leader and innovator of esports gaming peripherals; Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships for Usher’s New Look Foundation, founded by international entertainer and philanthropist, Usher Raymond; Senior International Marketing Manager and Public Relations Manager for international shapeware brand, Spanx, and in support of The Sara Blakely Foundation; Publicist for platinum-selling rock band, Collective Soul; and strategic marketing and communications services for Athletes Helping Youth, Sunshine State Goods, Nissan Live Sets on Yahoo! Rebecca is an honors graduate in the field of Communications from Brenau University where she was a member of the prestigious HGH Senior Honor Society.


With close to two decades of PR and marketing experience, seasoned publicist Carl Larsen has crafted effective PR campaigns for some of the Los Angeles’ most prestigious hospitality brands and thriving brick and mortar businesses, as well as premium beverage companies, award-winning restaurants, entertainment studios and television networks, established architecture and design, festivals, and magazine cover-worthy interior designers. Having worked for successful bi-coastal agencies most of his career, Larsen is currently a PR consultant for various hospitality and restaurant groups in Los Angeles while offering clients “big agency” expertise combined with the accessibility and hands-on approach of working with a PR specialist with senior marketing experience.

Carl has demonstrated experience and versatility in the areas of corporate branding and creative business strategies for a variety of industries over the years.  He excels in the critical area of media relations and has managed a full spectrum of top-tier clients, including The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, TLC Network, Paramount Home Entertainment, Kraiko Diamonds, Jamba Juice, Levi Strauss & Co., Shutters on the Beach, Hotel Casa Del Mar, restaurants at the W Hotel Westwood, Hennessy, Leblon Cachaça, and Segway, among others.  Larsen also co-led the award-winning PR campaign for the 25th anniversary of the Outfest Film Festival, which received the 2008 PRism Award, was Gold Sabre Award finalist, and a PR NEWS Non-Profit PR Awards Honorable Mention.


Originally from the Boston area, Jessie was involved with the entertainment industry at a very young age. She toured the country and recorded with a pop group under the Rounder Records label. She participated in professional theatre and performed onstage with the renowned actor, Stacy Keach. She graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with highest honors from the University of New Hampshire (UNH), where she was also a part of the Chi Omega Sorority and took on the role of Campus Activities chair. While at UNH she was extremely dedicated to the planning, development & participation of the campus’s American Cancer Society fundraiser, Relay for Life. After taking on a second job in Boston’s nightlife scene, Jessie road-tripped across the country to Los Angeles where she worked for Schneider Rondan Organization (SRO); handling regional and national publicity campaigns for festivals, tours, and music releases for artists such as Heart, Ozzy Osbourne, America, and others. 

She has recently taken on the position of account manager at Spin – planning and organizing several local projects, overseeing community events, responsible for marketing & social branding while immersing herself in the westside culture. On any given night you can find her out either at a live music venue or trying to find the yummiest new dessert Los Angeles has to offer.
