Wine Tasting 101 with Brianne Cohen

27 Aug Wine Tasting 101 with Brianne Cohen

We’re deep into summer and many of us are sheltering in place at home, so let’s enjoy some rosé! In this virtual wine tasting event, Brianne Cohen will explore different styles of rosé and the wine regions of the world who are known for making rosé. This fun class provides step-by-step instructions to make you a better wine taster and improve the drinking experience. Brianne will cover looking, smelling and tasting the wine, then drawing conclusions. The topic this week: Rosé All Day!

What to bring to this class? Rosé…obviously! One bottle will do, but if you care to dig deeper, bring a couple different bottles so you can compare/contrast. Options include pale and delicate rosés from Provence, fruity Grenache-based rosés from Spain, structured rosés from Tavel, or perhaps something made locally. White Zinfandel is an option as well….even if you have never had it before, it’s worth a try, so you can understand the style. And if you don’t like it, Brianne will have a good recommendation what to do with the rest of the bottle.
