For the first time in its celebrated 25-plus-year history, Santa Monica’s legendary oceanfront restaurant, The Lobster, is unveiling weekend brunch—marking a major milestone for one of Los Angeles’ most iconic dining destinations. Perched at the entrance to the Santa Monica Pier, the Michelin-recognized restaurant is now serving “Brunch with a View” every Saturday and Sunday, featuring new dishes by Chef Govind Armstrong.
The Lobster has long been synonymous with coastal elegance, exceptional seafood, and sweeping panoramic views. Helmed by acclaimed Chef Govind Armstrong, the new brunch menu reimagines classic favorites through a refined coastal lens. Signature dishes include Deviled Eggs with jumbo lump crab and caviar; Lobster or Cured Salmon Eggs Benedict, alongside indulgent standouts like Cereal-Crusted French Toast, Korean Fried Chicken & Waffles, and a hearty 10 oz. Ribeye Steak & Eggs. The restaurant’s signature Seafood Tower offers an abundant display of the freshest ocean offerings, designed as a must-share centerpiece.
Complementing the menu is a vibrant beverage program featuring handcrafted brunch cocktails, champagne, classic Bloody Marys, and mimosas; as well as fresh-pressed juices, specialty coffees, and elevated mocktails.
With unobstructed 180-degree views of the Santa Monica Pier, Malibu coastline, and the Pacific Ocean, The Lobster’s brunch delivers a setting as unforgettable as the cuisine, positioning it to quickly become one of the most sought-after brunch destinations in Los Angeles.
“We are thrilled to introduce weekend brunch, something our guests have been asking for for years,” said Chef Govind Armstrong. “This is a celebration of our community, our history, and our commitment to creating memorable dining experiences. And truly, there’s no better place to celebrate than here, overlooking the ocean.”
Recognized with Michelin Plate distinction and consistently featured in the Michelin Guide, The Lobster remains a benchmark for quality, hospitality, and destination dining in Southern California. The restaurant has also been named one of the 2026 “Most Loved Businesses” by the City of Santa Monica and the Santa Monica Daily Press.
