In addition to recognizing the Eco Star Award Honorees, the evening will feature eco-friendly, locally-sourced cuisine from Akasha, sustainable wine, an interactive bee farm tour and honey tasting from Eli’s Bees, entertainment, games, online auction, networking, and more at-home fun! The event will honor three Eco Star Award recipients – Chef Akasha Richmond from Akasha Restaurant in Culver City, that is Green Business Certified, Patagonia for its sustainability initiatives and Natalie Flores from Sustainable Works’ student program who now organizes and creates community gardens.
