Del Frisco’s Grille Brunch Menu Preview
Last Tuesday, Del Frisco’s Grille Santa Monica hosted a small preview of their new brunch menu for select journalists, food critics and influencers. The table was laid for 15 and come 6:30, the seats were taken. Chef Shawn Quinn made a quick toast and the dishes were brought in.
As the evening progressed, the attendees wined and dined, tasting the best of Del Frisco’s new menu including delicate Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, decadent Smoked Salmon Tower, Short Rib Hash drizzled with rich bordelaise and bérnaise sauces, and kick-in-the-pants Eggs in Purgatory made with cage free eggs.
Attendees also sipped on refreshing beverages like Watermelon Frozé blended with Jean-luc Colombo Rosé, White Sangria topped with a Strawberry Peach Popsicle and irresistible Crack Coffee spiced with chai and cinnamon flavors.
The late summer sun finally set over the Santa Monica ocean, coinciding with the arrival of dessert and concluding the meal. As the night wound down, resounding praise was heard from one and all.
