Calling All Sponsors!

The 4th annual Off the Hook Seafood Festival is returning to Santa Monica on October 6th! Featuring features live music, drinks, tastings, games and more, the event aims to raise money and awareness for Surfrider Foundation of West LA-Malibu, while helping to clean up our world's oceans. With 1,000 people expected to attend, the organisers are looking for sponsors to join them in running the event, while exposing their respective brands to the numerous Angelenos who attend. Del Frisco’s Grille is on the news!

A couple weeks ago, at the rather early hour of 6 a.m., we found ourselves at the KTLA offices on Sunset Blvd. The occasion? A live grilling segment with Del Frisco's Grille's Chef Tiger that would be aired on July 4th! Understandably, we were thrilled and Chef knocked it out of the park. An opportunity for one of our clients to be on cable news is always welcome and with Del Frisco's spectacular culinary talent, it was only a matter of time before the cameras came knocking. A bit of legwork on our part facilitated the whole process, but most of all, we could not be more proud of our client. Watch the full video here  

New client alert!

  We’re thrilled to announce our latest client, the all-new Heroic Deli in Santa Monica! The brainchild of restaurateur Adam Fleischman and Jeffrey Merrihue, the Deli is one half of what used to be Erven, which closed its doors in January this year. Spread out over a 3,000 sq. ft. space, Heroic Deli will operate during the day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. serving Italian meats and cheeses, avocado toast with polenta and breakfast lasagna among others, courtesy of chef Barbara Pollastrini. Once the sun sets, the Deli will close its doors making space for its sister entity, Segreto, to operate into the night. Fleischman described the restaurant as a “Roman speakeasy, that serves comfort food, wine and beer” until midnight. The space is currently being renovated by designer Alex Readinger and is slated to open its doors on September 1st. We hope to see you there!

Del Frisco’s Grille Brunch Menu Preview

Last Tuesday, Del Frisco’s Grille Santa Monica hosted a small preview of their new brunch menu for select journalists, food critics and influencers. The table was laid for 15 and come 6:30, the seats were taken. Chef Shawn Quinn made a quick toast and the dishes were brought in. As the evening progressed, the attendees wined and dined, tasting the best of Del Frisco’s new menu including delicate Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, decadent Smoked Salmon Tower, Short Rib Hash drizzled with rich bordelaise and bérnaise sauces, and kick-in-the-pants Eggs in Purgatory made with cage free eggs. Attendees also sipped on refreshing beverages like Watermelon Frozé blended with Jean-luc Colombo Rosé, White Sangria topped with a Strawberry Peach Popsicle and irresistible Crack Coffee spiced with chai and cinnamon flavors. The late summer sun finally set over the Santa Monica ocean, coinciding with the arrival of dessert and concluding the meal. As the night wound down, resounding praise was heard from one and all. Del Frisco’s Grille has repeatedly pushed the envelope in the culinary arts, leading to a well-established spot on the thriving Santa Monica food scene. With the launch of this new menu, we have no doubt that our client will continue to impress. TŪMBI Indian Bar and Kitchen officially open!

Here in Santa Monica, we pride ourselves on the diverse selection of restaurants and bars that exist within walking distance for both locals and tourists. Therefore, it gives us no end of happiness to announce the launch of TŪMBI Indian Bar and Kitchen in the culinary heart of Santa Monica! Having "soft-opened" with high praise from the LA Times, the Infatuation and Food and Wine magazine, there was never any doubt about how many hearts TŪMBI would win over. Before we knew it, it was June 6th and the restaurant officially opened its doors to all those who had lined up to sample Chef Imran Ali's cooking. The ribbon was cut and TŪMBI was declared open! Fantastic food, great vibes and an ambience to match ensured that TŪMBI set a standard for dining in Santa Monica. Those who attended promised that they'd be back, having been teased by the spices and dazzled by the culinary dexterity with which Chef was whipping up dosas and Pani Puris. We're extremely proud that TŪMBI has opened its doors in Santa Monica, and as big fans of good Indian food, highly recommend a visit, whether its for lunch, dinner or in between. Pedal on the Pier ’18

The annual Pedal on the Pier took place Sunday, June 3, 2018 and it was a smashing success! Backed by typically fantastic Santa Monica weather, the five-hour event quickly kicked into high gear. Hosted by comedian Ben Gleib and with DJ Mustard spinning some uber cool tunes, it didn't take long before participants were pounding the pedals. The event was also graced with a number of celebrities from all walks of life; Netflix peeps, swimmers, tattoo artists and TV stars. Notable names included Molly Simms, Camila Banus, Lenny Krayzelburg, David Lee and Nikki Glaspie. Cyclists were also cheered on by the Lakers Girls and Rams cheerleaders, who kept everyone in high spirits. Local retail and hospitality establishments came out to support the event too, ensuring that both participants and their teams were well fed and watered. Among them, Tumbi Indian Bar and Kitchen (who we're proud to call our clients) was a major hit with their flavorful snacks and dishes. With 100 teams and 1,000 attendees, the Harold Robinson Foundation managed to raise over $1 million for underserved LA kids. Talk about sweating for a good cause! All in all, the event exceeded our expectations and we can't wait for next year! A big thank you to all our sponsors, partners and staff for all that they did!

MAINopoly 2018 – Party on Main Street!

The annual iteration of Main's Street's MAINopoly returned to Santa Monica over the past weekend and it was a hoot! Numerous local establishments participated, ensuring that revellers were well fed and entertained. Beverages were provided by Golden Road Brewing, Pommery Champagne, Dulce Vida and American Born whiskey. An eclectic selection of local foods and a pumping soundtrack courtesy of our DJ meant that MAINopoly was the place to be, come Sunday afternoon. Revellers went from restaurant to restaurant, sampling local dishes and spending their "MAINopoly money," eventually returning to the VIP area to return their "gameboards", entering them into the MAINopoly raffle draw. As the sun moved closer to the horizon, the party eventually wound down, only for the after-party to to begin at the Circle Bar, which quickly became packed to capacity. All in all, it was a wonderful day with some fantastic people. Special thanks to all our sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible. Here's to MAINopoly 2019!!

Dinner on ICE with Chef Derrick Fox
